Located in Rotary park, Kurri Kurri RSL Sub-branch Cenotaph is maintained in good order by members. It is a place where we, the communitity, can pay our respects and honour the men and women who served Australia in time of conflict. Memorial functions are held at this cenotaph on significant dates during the year. Dates and times are promulgated in the RSL calendar in this web site.

Join us in helping our mates not so well off, and have a bit of fun with others who share your experiences. Eligibility: Any person who has served in the Australian Defence Force, or served with or supported or was otherwise engaged with the Australian Defence Force or the Armed Forces of its Allies, for at least 6 months, or any other person provided for in the By-Laws, may be admitted to Service Membership. Sub-branch members hold raffles every Sunday in the Kurri Workers club. Tickets on sale from 10am. Raffle prizes are donated by the local community, proceeds go towards RSL functions for the community and help fund donations to other charities. Next Major memorial event
Remembrance Day:
At 11am on Friday 11th November Kurri Kurri RSL Sub-branch will be holding a service at the Cenotaph in Rotary park. We pay our respects in our own way. On completion, all are welcome to join in the raffles, refreshments and finger food at the Workers club over the road. The cost for the whole day will be $10 payable on the day to the secretary or member of the committee. Free off street parking is available behind the club if required. |
